Russia (bbabo.net), - The first talks between Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and LPR Foreign Minister Vladislav Deynego and First Deputy Foreign Minister of the DPR Sergey Peresada took place in Moscow. During a press conference following the meeting, Lavrov said that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was lying when he announced his readiness to discuss the country's neutral status.

"Now he's just telling you a lie, lying, in simple terms, when he says that he is ready to discuss the neutral status of Ukraine," the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

During the conversation, the heads of the foreign ministries also discussed the issue of coordinating intergovernmental agreements in the spheres of the economy, military-technical and humanitarian cooperation.

"Today we discussed the practical tasks that follow from the treaties of friendship and cooperation and mutual assistance, primarily from the point of view of the formation of a legal framework in all areas of our interaction. Practice shows that there should be several dozen such agreements," he stressed. Lavrov following the negotiations.

According to the Russian minister, all ministries and departments of the Russian Federation will establish ties with colleagues from the DPR and LPR, as well as ensure the implementation of previously reached intergovernmental agreements.
