Five Russian schools in Tajikistan will have time to open in 2022

The five Russian-language schools that will open in Tajikistan in September will have directors appointed as early as March. This was stated by the Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko, who visited Dushanbe.

"Actually, it's time to appoint directors of these schools, because the director understands what is needed already at this stage, so that there is already an owner there," Matviyenko said during an inspection of construction sites via videoconference.

She recalled that the school construction project was initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin and Tajik President Emomali Rahmon.

Schools, each of which is designed for 1.2 thousand students, are being built in Dushanbe, as well as in Kulyab, Tursunzade, Khujand and Bokhtar. At all facilities, work is carried out in accordance with the approved schedule.
