Russia - QR codes in public places have been canceled in the Novgorod region

Russia (bbabo.net), - Coronavirus restrictions have been significantly eased in the Novgorod region. Now, when visiting public places, you do not need to present a QR code confirming the fact of illness or vaccination or a “clean” PCR test, the press service of the regional government reports.

Recall that since October last year in the region without anti-COVID documents it was impossible to get into fitness clubs, swimming pools, theaters, museums, go to an exhibition, to a movie or to a concert. They also required certificates or codes when visiting a cafe or checking into a hotel.

Now documents will not be required. In addition, food courts, children's playrooms and entertainment centers are reopening in shopping centers in the region. By the way, earlier children could not be in the shopping center unaccompanied by adults, now this requirement has also been canceled. Cafes and restaurants were allowed to work until midnight, self-isolation for citizens over 60 is now not mandatory, but voluntary.

However, some restrictions still remain. So, at mass events, for example, meetings or conferences, where more than a hundred participants are declared, anti-covid documents are still required. QR codes are also needed at a wedding if more than 20 guests are planned. They will ask for antique documents and during excursions, certificates will be required indoors if more than 20 people are participating, on the street - more than 50.
