More than a hundred women from the Public Movement "Donetsk Republic" came today, Friday, February 25, to the Republican Blood Transfusion Center to donate blood for the DPR servicemen. They called on all women of Donbass to join their action.
As one of the employees of the movement, Marina, said, the decision to donate blood came after all the men working in the executive committee volunteered for the front line. "Our men went to fight for the freedom of Donbass. And we are well aware that it is very uneasy on the front line now. Each of them endangers their lives and health. By donating our blood, perhaps we can help them at least a little in this difficult hour," she said. she.
It should be noted that not only employees of the Central Executive Committee, but also activists of all nine local branches of the Donetsk Republic Public Movement in Donetsk took part in the action.
At the same time, several women were not allowed to donate blood for medical reasons. In particular, Tatyana did not pass by age, since donors should not be older than 60 years. “As soon as I found out that we were going to donate blood for our guys, I immediately decided that I would definitely go. But, unfortunately, it didn’t work out. I was even upset about this,” Tatyana admits.
“This is not the first time I donate blood in this center. Moreover, I am registered as a donor, my blood has already been checked for quality a hundred times. Everything is fine with it,” Irina from the Central Executive Committee told us.
Given the large number of people who took part in the action, the reception of activists from the OD "DR" at the Republican Center for Blood Transfusion took place until the end of the working day. As the activists themselves noted, they call women of the Donetsk People's Republic to join them.
“We must do everything possible to help our guys defeat the enemy. They don’t take us to the front line, so at least in this way we will bring our victory closer. We are very tired of the war in eight years, we want peace to come as soon as possible and no one else died at the hands of Ukrainian warriors," summed up the organizers of the donor action.
