He stressed that the followers of Islam, fighting in the ranks of the Russian army, are on the path of Allah, as they uphold traditional family values, which Russia stands to protect.

Today's West, under the influence of which Ukraine turned out to be, promotes other values ​​that are alien to Russian society, the mufti noted, hinting at LGBT propaganda.

"Muslims who are fighting there today are fighting for the Koran, for the Prophet (pbuh)", - said the head of the Muftiate of the Chechen Republic.

He added that the fighters are faced with the task of removing people who are obstructing the establishment of peace.
