Employees of the 27th Scientific Center of the Russian Ministry of Defense have patented a gas mask-armored helmet, which provides reliable protection of the carrier from various threats. The document describing the invention is published on the website of the Federal Institute of Industrial Property.

It notes that "the invention relates to personal protective equipment, namely to the field of weapons and equipment."

"With the undoubted advantages of the proposed device, it is not universal and cannot provide a serviceman with a variable level of protection in accordance with the type of weapons of mass destruction used and changes in the values ​​of its damaging factors in the dynamics of the use of this tool, which is due to the design flaws of this analogue," the publication states.

Among them, they note: two filters in the front of the face mask, the need for constant use of a gas mask without the presence of radioactive, chemical and biological contamination, a rigid attachment of the mask.

Earlier, specialists from the MiG corporation (part of the UAC of the Rostec state corporation) patented a device for automated aircraft control systems, thanks to which flights will become safer.
