Ukraine (bbabo.net), - Employees of the Russian Embassy in Cyprus received threats on the day of the death of journalist and public figure Darya Dugina. This was stated today, August 24, by the Russian Ambassador to the Republic of Cyprus, Stanislav Osadchiy, on the air of the Rossiya-24 TV channel.

“We are receiving threats, even against the embassy staff. For example, on the day of the tragic death of Darya Dugina, one person called the embassy, ​​calling in bad English with a characteristic accent and said: “You are next,” the diplomat said.

He added that on Wednesday evening in front of the embassy the Ukrainian diaspora intends to hold a major rally.

“And according to them, they intend to douse the embassy building with paint and throw stones at it. On all these occasions, we appeal to the police, we hope that the police will not allow such a development of events even today,” Osadchy said.

Recall: according to the FSB of the Russian Federation, the terrorist attack against 29-year-old Darya Dugina was arranged by the Ukrainian special services, an explosive device in the journalist’s car was planted by Ukrainian citizen Natalia Vovk, born in 1979. Vovk, along with her 12-year-old daughter, arrived in Russia on July 23 and rented an apartment in the house where Dugina lived in order to collect information about her. On the day of the murder, Vovk and her daughter were present at the Tradition literary and musical festival. After a controlled explosion of a car driven by a journalist, Vovk and her daughter drove through the Pskov region to Estonia.
