Russia and the CIS (bbabo.net) - Tomorrow, an unusual bell ringing concert for Central Asia will take place on the Cathedral Square of the Holy Assumption Cathedral in Tashkent, Sputnik Uzbekistan reports citing the press service of the Tashkent diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church.
The event will be held under the leadership of the head of the Moscow school of bell ringers Ilya Drozdikhin. The concert will demonstrate traditional Moscow, Rostov, Arkhangelsk and other bells.
The event will be broadcast online, so everyone can join the viewing.
The host of the concert will talk about the peculiarities of bell ringing in different regions where the Orthodox population predominates. Entrance to the square will be free.
After the concert, the audience will be able to take part in a bell-ringing master class. Those who pass the master class will receive a diploma from the Moscow School of Bell Ringers.
