Moreover, Russian fuel is purchased not only by India and China, but also by Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates - exporters of energy resources.

It is also noted that the Middle Eastern monarchies actually ignored the US demand to increase oil production in order to bring down those that soared to close to record values.

"The developed countries, which failed to deal a crushing blow to Russia with sanctions alone, made them hostages and even victims of their own economies," the author of the publication stressed.
