Ukraine (bbabo.net), - The authorities of the Zaporozhye region announced the shutdown of the sixth power unit of the ZNPP.

Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant near Energodar, the largest nuclear power plant in Europe in terms of the number of units and installed capacity, is subjected to incessant shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Earlier, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi admitted the possibility of stopping the operation of the last reactor at the ZNPP. Employees of the IAEA mission stationed at the Zaporizhzhya NPP reported the destruction of energy infrastructure as a result of shelling, in connection with which it is planned to shut down the only remaining operating reactor, he said.
