About 3.8 million tons of food exported from Ukrainian ports

Ukraine (bbabo.net), - Six vessels with food left Ukrainian ports on Monday, having received permission from the joint coordination center (JCC), the United Nations (UN) reports.

“SKC reports that six ships have left Ukrainian ports, they are transporting a total of 212,580 tons of grain and other food products as part of the Black Sea Grain Initiative,” the report says.

The UN specified that the ships Arcturus (69,080 tons of wheat) and Gulmar (16.3 thousand tons of wheat, 17,350 tons of corn and 8,350 tons of barley) are heading to Spain. Dry cargo ships Akson Sara (30.7 thousand tons of corn) and Fulmar S (4.4 thousand tons of sunflower meal and 3.4 thousand tons of rapeseed meal) went to Italy.

In addition, the Tomahawk vessel is transporting 60,000 tons of sunflower meal to China, and the Esence vessel will deliver 3,000 tons of wheat to Turkey.

“As of September 19, the total tonnage of grain and other food products exported from three Ukrainian ports is 3,886,995 tons. In total, 365 vessels have been allowed to move at the moment - 196 for arrival at Ukrainian ports and 169 for exit from them, ”the report says.

On July 22, in Istanbul, with the participation of the UN, Russia, Turkey and Ukraine, documents were signed on the creation of a corridor for the export of grain from three Ukrainian ports - Chernomorsk, Odessa and Yuzhny.
