Ukraine (bbabo.net), - Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda met in New York with his American counterpart Joseph Biden. The head of Lithuania thanked the president for the tough US policy towards Russia, writes RuBaltic.ru.

“I urged her to continue, especially now that Russia has announced a partial mobilization,” Nauseda wrote on the social network.

He claims that Lithuania and the United States have the same views on the situation in Ukraine. According to Nauseda, Washington and Vilnius should do everything to help Kyiv.

“President Joseph Biden also stressed: know that you, too, Lithuania, we really need,” Nauseda said.

Earlier it became known that the Lithuanian authorities decided to increase the level of combat readiness of their special forces - in connection with the partial mobilization in Russia.
