Russia (bbabo.net) - The first commercial tourist flight on a Mi-8AMT helicopter will take place in Buryatia on December 28. This was reported on the portal of the government of the republic.

“We expect that following the results of the first familiarization flight, tour operators will be able to create a new, high-quality, interesting tourist product that we can offer to all tourists,” said the Minister of Tourism of the region Aldar Dorzhiev.

The transportation will be carried out by the Barguzin airline, which received a certificate for the flight program on November 1, 2021. This allows you to take part in solving problems to increase transport accessibility and develop tourist air transportation.

The first commercial flight will be operated by local tour operators. After that, they will draw up a program of helicopter excursions, their duration and determine the cost.

The first helicopter tours for residents and guests of the republic will be available in February 2022.
