USA (bbabo.net), - US President Joe Biden said he does not plan to contact Russian leader Vladimir Putin in the near future.

“The fact is that I have no plans to contact Mr. Putin in the near future,” Biden said at a joint press conference with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron.

At the same time, the American leader stressed that future contacts with the Russian president are possible subject to US consultations with their NATO partners.

"I'm not going to do this on my own," the US president said.

Putin has previously said that Russia has always said that it is open to talks on Ukraine, if Kyiv matures, then the mediation efforts of those who offer will be in demand.
