Russia and Belarus made changes to the agreement on regional security

Belarus (bbabo.net), - The Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus have adjusted the bilateral interstate agreement on the joint provision of regional security in the military sphere.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, changes were made to the document today, December 3. They came into force after the corresponding protocol was signed in Minsk.

It was signed by Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and his Belarusian counterpart Viktor Khrenin.

“Allied relations with Belarus have acquired particular importance in the face of unprecedented pressure from the West and its undeclared war against the Union State,” Shoigu said.

He also stated that the Republic of Belarus has been and remains a reliable partner of Russia, which is especially important today, in the face of unprecedented pressure from the collective West and "an undeclared war against our countries."

The head of the Russian military department highly appreciated “the determination of Belarus to resist the hostile course of the United States and its allies, as well as the readiness to jointly ensure the military security of the Union State.

As bbabo.net reported earlier, Sergei Shoigu admitted that the Russians called up as partial mobilization were trained and combat coordination on the territory of Belarus.
