USA (bbabo.net), - The US Department of the Treasury considers the price ceiling for Russian oil, set at $60 per barrel, sufficient to continue its sales to world markets.

“The price ceiling level of $60 per barrel has been set at a sufficient level to maintain a clear economic incentive for Russia to continue selling oil to global markets,” the Finance Ministry said.

They explained that the price was set at a level that Russia "historically approved", and which is comparable to the price of sales of Russian oil before the start of the special operation in Ukraine.
