US offers Israel a big deal in the Middle East

The Greater Middle East (bbabo.net), - The United States offered Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu some kind of "deal" on politics in the Middle East region. This was reported today, February 4, by Iranian journalist Khayal Muazzin with reference to Yediot Ahronot.

According to available information, the Americans offered Israel extensive cooperation in covert operations against Iran, as well as in strengthening Israel's ties with Saudi Arabia.

For his part, Netanyahu will have to take steps to reduce tensions on the Palestinian front and in the domestic political arena. The report said Netanyahu agreed with the US proposal.

As bbabo.net previously reported, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that he does not intend to prioritize negotiations with Palestine for a settlement in the Middle East:

"When the Arab-Israeli conflict comes to an end, I think we will go back to the Palestinians and make real peace with them."

Referring to the Abraham Accords concluded with the UAE and Bahrain in 2020, Netanyahu stated:

“I bypassed them (the Palestinians) and went directly to the Arab states, having developed a new concept of the world. I have negotiated four historic peace agreements, the Abrahamic agreements, which is twice the number of peace agreements concluded by all my predecessors in 70 years combined. Of course, I want them (the Palestinians) to have all the powers they need to govern themselves, but not a single power that could threaten us.”

Benjamin Netanyahu also stated that the normalization of relations with Riyadh is the key to peace between Israel and Palestine. Netanyahu spoke about a potential improvement in relations with the Gulf kingdom during an interview with Saudi broadcaster Al Arabiya.

He also urged US President Joe Biden to reaffirm Washington's strategic partnership with Riyadh following recent tensions over Saudi Arabia-led cuts in global oil production. In this regard, Netanyahu said:

“The traditional [U.S.] alliance with Saudi Arabia and other countries must be reaffirmed… There should be no periodic fluctuations or even spikes in this relationship, because I think the alliance between America’s allies and with America is the anchor of stability in our region.”
