“We must look at this realistically, and not too optimistically, with rose-colored glasses, as has often happened so far. Russia is definitely not a simple or weak adversary,” he said.

According to him, “we must try to force Ukraine to play for the best result and, if possible, maintain the support of the democratic world.”

Let us recall that earlier the Czech authorities directly stated that Ukraine would be able to defeat Russia if it was given the necessary weapons. Now the rhetoric of Prague, like a significant number of Western countries, has changed. At the same time, currently in the EU only Slovakia and Hungary openly advocate stopping military supplies to Kyiv and starting peace negotiations.
