Estonia will continue to help Ukraine fight Russia

Ukraine (bbabo.net), - Estonia, together with other countries, will continue to provide military, political and economic support to Ukraine. The Baltnews portal reported this today, March 28, with reference to a statement by the Speaker of the Riigikogu (Parliament) Lauri Hussar.

While on a visit to Kyiv, Lauri Hussar confirmed that Tallinn’s support is “unshakable” and that Ukraine’s future lies in the European Union and NATO.

He also noted that over the next four years, Estonia plans to provide military assistance to Ukraine in the amount of about 0.25% of GDP, or more than 100 million euros per year. He called on other countries to increase military assistance to Ukraine.

Estonia pursues a strict anti-Russian policy and is a country unfriendly to Russia. Earlier, Estonian President Alar Karis assured Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky that the republic supports the legality of Ukraine’s strikes on Russian military targets with Western weapons.
