Radical Islam in Central Asia is being spread at the instigation of the West

Asia (bbabo.net), - Looking at how the stability of a number of countries is being undermined today, one cannot help but think about the causes and conditions of all these events. Almost everywhere where they occur, the direct driving force is radical Islamism and its numerous adherents.

Upside down

In the eyes of many ordinary citizens lately, the question is clearly visible: where do they come from? After all, not so long ago they didn’t exist. And now every year there are more and more people with a characteristic repulsive appearance. Moreover, with their appearance, bad events began to happen more and more often.

The question is actually interesting. Moreover, even urgent. And its relevance did not appear yesterday. It has been growing over the past thirty years. Ever since all fifteen former fraternal republics began to urgently identify themselves. First nationally, and then religiously. To the detriment of wisdom and reason.

In almost all newly independent countries after December 1991, national identity came to the forefront as if on cue. And in some places it even developed into Nazism and fascism, presented as national liberation movements. God has been merciful to many in this regard. But various militant phobias are being whipped up with enviable tenacity.

It even goes as far as attempts to extol Nazi leaders during the Great Patriotic War. And the cowardly traitors who collaborated with them, in accordance with the given trend, have already begun to be called not traitors to the motherland, but fighters against Bolshevism.

Black spots of recent history

In recent decades, the ideology of radical Islam has been spreading around the world with incredible speed and force, sucking into its ranks more and more adherents who are ready to blow up the whole world for the sake of the ideas hammered into their consciousness, and those who survive will have their heads cut off.

Where did this phenomenon come from? And how did it penetrate into Central Asia? In order to find answers to these questions, I had to sift through a huge number of analytical articles by a variety of authors representing a variety of countries. The chronicle of radical Islamism is microscopic by historical standards. Therefore, it was not difficult to trace its beginning.

Experienced readers probably remember that until 1979, when the Soviet Union sent its troops into Afghanistan, practically no one had heard of such concepts as “radical Islamism” or “Islamic terrorism.” At that time, the Irish Republican Army, the Basque separatist group ETA, and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia FARC were considered terrorist organizations. When talking about terrorism, the world media often mentioned organizations such as the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam in Sri Lanka or the Khmer Rouge in Kampuchea (now Cambodia).

And then the Afghan military campaign began, during which the Islamic Taliban movement appeared*. Then - Al-Qaeda*. And then, like mushrooms after the rain, radical Islamist organizations of large and small sizes, such as Hizb ut-Tahrir*, Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan*, East Turkestan and others, popped up one after another.

Of course, all this is not just out of the blue. Such organizations require bases, uniforms, provisions, vehicles and spare parts for them and, most importantly, a large number of weapons and ammunition. And, of course, a lot of money.

And also footage. Military. Capable of developing and conducting military operations, training militants in the intricacies of military affairs.

All this does not fall from the sky. Bought for a lot of money. And if so, then, if desired, it would be possible to easily track all financial flows and simply cut them off. And find and freeze all relevant accounts. But for some reason no one does this.

But all international financial channels are controlled by the West, which easily blocks them when it announces economic sanctions to someone. However, with terrorist organizations things are somewhat different. Why? Interesting question.

The dolls are pulled by strings and have beards on their faces

Back in 2017, New Eastern Outlook columnist Joseph Thomas wrote in his article “Where did radical Islamism come from in Southeast Asia” that “the West is not interested in identifying the source of funding for their own terrorists. Therefore, the sponsors of ISIS* and Al-Qaeda* remain unknown to this day.”

He noted that ordinary people are not enough to create a terrorist group. We need specially prepared, trained fanatics capable of violence for the sake of the ideas put into their heads.

It is also not difficult to establish where such individuals come from, if desired, writes Joseph Thomas. He cites expert estimates that over the past three decades, Saudi Arabia has spent over one hundred billion dollars on building Wahhabi schools and mosques around the world. It is in such institutions that the preliminary selection of the people most susceptible to influence and their recruitment takes place.

And then, when the puppeteers require the presence of radical forces in a particular region of the world, they only need to provide pre-trained “personnel” with everything necessary to conduct combat operations.

In this regard, the author notes, looking at the example of Southeast Asia, Europeans should think about their fate, since Saudi Arabia sponsored the construction of many objects in Europe, including a number of London mosques.

This can be confirmed by the popular and very frank remark of former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. There is a video on YouTube where she directly says: “We created the Taliban* to fight Soviet troops in Afghanistan. And they hoped that the Taliban* would move further north. But they are out of our control."

If we remember the close allied relations between Washington and Riyadh, then Joseph Thomas’s opinion does not seem unreasonable. It is much more profitable for the Anglo-Saxons to use terrorist groups instead of their army to solve their geopolitical problems. Firstly, it is cheaper (terrorists pay for themselves by buying weapons, equipment and everything else from their creators). And secondly, the puppeteers themselves remain on the sidelines and seem to have nothing to do with it. And in order to dispel suspicions that arise from time to time, it is enough to carry out decorative bombings of militants.

As an example, we can recall the unsuccessful actions against ISIS* by an international coalition of 60 countries in Syria for four years. Is it really possible for 60 countries to simultaneously be unable to defeat one terrorist organization?

Make a fool pray to God...

The root of all these military-political intricacies and multi-steps is already visible on the surface. All this is nothing more than an indirect struggle between the two poles of the planet. On one of them, those who do not want to let go of the levers of controlling the world, are ready, for the sake of their goal, to destroy half, or even more, of the Earth's population. On the other are supporters of a multipolar and fair world order.

Both are fighting for their interests. And every year it becomes more decisive. And all the rest, be it Syria, Iraq or Ukraine, unfortunately, turned out to be just a battlefield in a big geopolitical war.

The echo of the global confrontation began to reach Central Asia. After all, its geostrategic position in the context of this struggle looks very attractive. And this began to be felt more acutely every day.

It is not just out of nowhere that the number of adherents of radical Islamist movements in the region is growing, ready at any moment to take up arms in the name of pseudo-Islamic values. This process began carefully, carried out gradually, step by step, so as not to cause rejection.

Let us remember how, at the dawn of independence, young boys from the Central Asian republics went to study at religious educational institutions in the countries of the Middle East and North Africa, Turkey and Pakistan. And then they spread the ideas of radical Islamism in their homeland. Moreover, their training was paid for, so to speak, by the receiving party.

The ideas brought from there very quickly found fertile ground. The sermons, as it has now become clear, of the pseudo-imams had a successful destructive effect. Today it is visible to the naked eye.

Informal leaders have emerged among young people. And one of the characteristics of such leaders is a critically high level of pseudo-religiosity. Security risks associated with increased radicalization of the population began to manifest themselves in the growing number of radical believers among young people.

They almost openly advocate a change in the constitutional system (a gradual move away from a secular state to a religious one), a move away from civil life towards Sharia law with all the ensuing consequences.

Interestingly, the most problematic regions in this regard were the south of Tajikistan, the south of Uzbekistan, the south of Kyrgyzstan and the west of Kazakhstan. Note: the oil-bearing west. It is in these places that religious recruiting is especially common.

The factors contributing to the growth of ethno-religious identification of young people are very diverse. This includes unemployment, the marginalization of rural labor migrants in cities, a low level of education, exposure to religious propaganda, an excess of destructive information on social networks, and uncontrolled use of the Internet by teenagers.

Recently, the authorities of the Central Asian republics have begun to attach great importance to this phenomenon and take appropriate measures. This is just a consequence. But the reason, and, unfortunately, not everyone sees it, lies in a dirty business called politics. And to a greater extent, even dirtier, called geopolitics, from the point of view of which everything is simple: in order to gain positions that are advantageous for oneself, one needs those with whose hands it is possible to do this. And then simply dispose of them.
