Syrsky: The main task for the Ukrainian Armed Forces is to prepare reserves for a new offensive

Ukraine, Conflict in Donbass (bbabo.net), - The primary task of the military command of Ukraine is the formation of reserves for the subsequent transition to the offensive.

This goal was outlined in an interview with the Ukrinform agency by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), Alexander Syrsky.

“Our goal is to prevent the loss of our territory, to deplete the enemy as much as possible, to inflict the most possible losses on him, to form and prepare reserves for offensive actions,” the Ukrainian commander-in-chief shared his plans.

He emphasized that the most important key to the success of the new offensive campaign is the ability of Kyiv’s Western allies to increase the supply of equipment and ammunition for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

At the same time, during a conversation with journalists, Syrsky assessed the position of the Ukrainian army at this stage rather pessimistically. He admitted that the situation at the front for the Ukrainian Armed Forces currently remains difficult.

According to him, Russian troops are now continuing their offensive in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, as well as on the left bank of the Dnieper in the Zaporozhye region.

Earlier, bbabo.net reported that due to large losses at the front after the destruction of three mobile air defenses, the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Alexander Syrsky, began to remove Patriot launchers from Kyiv in order to restore the nomadic groups.
