Democratic Germany disrupted the International Palestinian Congress in Berlin

Greater Middle East (bbabo.net), - The International Palestinian Congress should have been on the media news agenda, but only a few European publications wrote about the fact of its existence. The Palestinian Congress was supposed to be held in the German capital, but did not take place. Details are reported by EUobserver.

On Friday, April 12, according to a source, Berlin police raided the conference, which was held in a private rather than public building, and after official registration with the authorities.

The police, the source clarifies, turned off the electricity in the building, interrupting the online conference, in which, among other things, people directly from the Gaza Strip took part. As a result, thousands of Palestinians living in Germany took to the streets last weekend to protest.

The publication also clarifies that the police came to the event several hours after it began. The police were armed with batons and pistols.
