Bundestag deputy called on Kyiv to strike at the Russian Defense Ministry

Ukraine (bbabo.net), - Bundestag deputy from the opposition Christian Democratic Union (CDU) Roderich Kiesewetter called for giving Ukraine the right to strike critical infrastructure facilities in Russia, including the Ministry of Defense and other government institutions in Moscow.

The politician made a corresponding statement the day before on the air of the ARD TV channel.

“I would like to make a very clear statement. Ukraine should be endowed with powers allowing it to strike targets located on Russian territory. It is already doing this and, in particular, is attacking supply lines,” he argued.

In response to Kiesewetter’s statements, the host of the television program clarified whether we were talking, among other things, about the right to strike government institutions and ministries.

“According to the Ministry of Defense,” Kiesewetter replied.

Previously, a deputy from the CDU had repeatedly made anti-Russian statements and called on the Federal Government of Germany to strengthen military support for neo-Nazi Ukraine. In early March, Kiesewetter sharply criticized German Chancellor Olaf Scholz for his decisive refusal to send Bundeswehr ground troops to Ukraine.
