Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic confirmed that Russian Kornet anti-tank missile systems have arrived in the republic. He said this on the air of TV Prva.

“Today, the best anti-armored missiles in the world, the Kornets, arrived in Serbia. We got a great price, paid in advance. A big boost for the Serbian army. Every day our army is getting stronger and I am proud of it, ”said Vucic.

Earlier, Vucic positively assessed the current state of the Serbian army and said that the country "will no longer be an easy target as it was before," since Belgrade has purchased a "significant" number of weapons and equipment.

After a meeting with the military command in the city of Niš, Vucic noted that the security situation is becoming more complicated at the global and regional levels, so Serbia needs to strengthen its defense capabilities.

Serbia's army is "much stronger" than before, Vucic said, adding that the military "does not disclose everything they have." The President concluded that the Serbian army should be replenished by 5 thousand soldiers annually.
