Russia and CIS (bbabo.net) - The Russian capital has been chosen as the venue for the first meeting of representatives of Turkey and Armenia to normalize bilateral relations. This was stated by the head of the Turkish Foreign Ministry Mevlut Cavusoglu, RIA Novosti reports.

He noted that the parties have already appointed their special representatives on this issue. The meeting will take place in Moscow, but the date of the meeting is still unknown.

At the same time, Cavusoglu expressed the hope that the Armenian authorities will act within the framework in accordance with international law.

As it was reported earlier, in the near future direct flights between Turkey and Armenia, which were interrupted about 6 years ago, will be resumed. At the first stage, flights on the Istanbul-Yerevan route will be operated.
