House of Representatives will look into what Trump talked about with supporters hours before the storming of the Capitol

A committee of the US House of Representatives investigating the circumstances of the storming of the Capitol on January 6, 2021, became interested in a phone call from ex-US President Donald Trump, which he made a few hours before the start of the riots.

According to The Guardian, this information was confirmed by the chairman of the committee Benny Thompson.

According to the newspaper, on the night of January 5, Trump called some of his subordinates from the White House at the Willard Hotel in Washington and urged them to "find ways to prevent Congress from officially confirming the results of the presidential election."

Earlier, the head of the White House, Joe Biden, said that he was ready to fight in the presidential elections with ex-President Donald Trump. He added that he will take part in the presidential race if he is healthy.

Biden also called for the prosecution of all those responsible for the storming of the US Congress building after the 2020 elections, regardless of their position in society.
