Russia (bbabo.net) - A storm warning was announced in Kamchatka.

As reported in the regional Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations with reference to the Kamchatka Department of Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring, on the evening of January 1, dangerous sea waves with a height of 8-9 meters are predicted in the Pacific Ocean (Aleutian Municipal District).

It will last until midday on January 2.

Rescuers inform that the storm does not pose a threat to settlements on the coast. But it increases the likelihood of emergencies related to accidents and damage on ships. Therefore, executives of companies whose vessels may be in these areas are strongly advised to take extra precautions.
