Tokayev called protests in Kazakhstan an act of aggression from outside

The protests that continue in Kazakhstan should be viewed as an act of aggression. This was stated by the President of the country Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, whose speech was broadcast by the state TV channel "Khabar 24".

"Terrorist gangs are essentially international, they have undergone serious training abroad, and their attack on Kazakhstan can and should be viewed as an act of aggression," the president said.

According to him, during the protests, terrorist gangs seized large infrastructure facilities, in particular - the airport in Almaty and five aircraft, including foreign ones.

"Alma-Ata was attacked, destroyed, vandalized. Residents of Alma-Ata became victims of attacks by terrorists and bandits," Tokayev emphasized.
