A 17-year-old teenager appeared before the court who threatened to shoot a mosque

In England, a 17-year-old teenager who expressed a desire to "shoot a mosque" and "kill 10,000 people" received a verdict from a juvenile court.

The Wiltshire youth was brought to trial in Southampton. In court, police representatives explained that they received a signal from concerned residents - the teenager posted numerous racist and Islamophobic comments on Internet forums and threatened Muslims with physical violence.

During the arrest and search, the young man was found to have a handwritten manifesto entitled "The Big Plan", in which he detailed his intentions to make an explosive device, listed well-known objects in his area and specific persons whom he wanted to kill.

The defendant pleaded guilty to charges brought against him under terrorism-related charges. He was sentenced to 24 months of compulsory rehabilitation under state programs, reports bbabo.net with reference to BBC News.

Investigator Kat Barnes thanked fellow citizens for reporting the teen's threats to the police. “We are seeing a significant increase in the proportion of right-wing terrorism cases,” Barnes said.
