For the first time in history, the country's national theaters have come together for the purpose of mutually beneficial and enriching creative development. The event was initiated by the Alexandrinsky Theater (St. Petersburg). "The creation of the association is a state issue, we are talking about the preservation and development of the national culture and language," said its artistic director Valery Fokin.
In turn, the director of the Alexandrinsky Theater Sergei Emelyanov added that by expanding horizons, it is possible to preserve the originality of national theaters so that their creative teams can learn what is happening in the theatrical world, so that they do not stew in their own juice, but share their successes and borrow interesting experience. colleagues.
By the way, the fact that representatives of almost all Russian national theaters came to Petrozavodsk speaks of the interest of the theaters themselves in the creation of the association. For example, Sayan Zhambalov, artistic director of the Buryat Academic Drama Theater named after Khots Namsaraev, said that this is a real breakthrough.
- National theaters are a great asset. Each team is looking for its own path and its own style. In Soviet times, they were similar to one another. Today, everyone has the opportunity to self-identify. And it seems to me that such mutual enrichment will only be beneficial, - he believes.
At the founding conference, all national theaters were offered cooperation proposals. So, in the summer in St. Petersburg will be held lectures and master classes for technical workers of theaters related to light and sound. A similar summer school will also operate in Tatarstan. In addition, a magistracy will open in the northern capital, 10 places in which will be given to future chief directors of national theaters. After part-time studies, they will have to stage graduation performances.
Well, in Yakutia this year the All-Russian Congress of National Theaters will be held.
