Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, AMOLED 120Hz no fold, 12/512 GB, NFC, UWB

Fans of Motorola's next-generation foldable smartphones are delighted to know that the company is working on a successor to the 2019 Razr foldable and a 5G version of the device launched in 2020.

Now, some of the characteristics of this future foldable device have been leaked online. The device will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. This will mark the first time a foldable Motorola model will receive a top-end flagship platform, as the first two models received Qualcomm 7-series SoCs.

The mobile platform will be paired with 6, 8 and 12 GB of RAM. Likewise, you will have three flash storage options: 128, 256 and 512 GB. The Motorola Razr 3 will get a main foldable AMOLED screen without a fold. Its resolution will be Full HD +, the display will support a refresh rate of 120 Hz and will have a hole for a selfie camera in the center top. The characteristics of the additional screen have not yet been reported.

Also confirmed is the presence of an NFC module, support for Ultra-Wide Band technology, it will run Android 12 out of the box.

The device will be released in China, Europe and North America.
