According to RBC and Interfax, on the night of January 13-14, hackers carried out a global attack on the websites of the Ukrainian government and a number of state departments. On some sites, all information was deleted and the main pages were changed - text with threats appeared there. Now all attacked sites are disabled and inaccessible. Specialists of the SBU and cyber police of Ukraine are investigating the incident.

During the cyber attack, the websites of the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, the Ministry of Veterans Affairs, the portals of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Ministry of Sports, the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Ecology, and the Ministry of Energy were affected.

Specialists of the Ministry of Education and Science explained that the website of the department will be unavailable until all investigative actions are completed and all the reasons for the attack are eliminated.

At the moment, none of the hacker groups has claimed responsibility for this attack, during which an announcement with threats written in three languages: Ukrainian, Russian and Polish was posted on the start pages of the websites of the Ministry of Education and Science and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
