Samsung still not going to abandon the Exynos 2200

The source, dressed as an exclusive, provided the official renderings of the Samsung Galaxy S22+ smartphone. This model looks like a regular Galaxy S22, but is larger and has a few technical differences.

The screen is not only larger, but also brighter: the maximum brightness will be 1750 cd/sq.m. Accordingly, the battery capacity will also be greater than that of the regular Galaxy S22 - it will be 4500 mAh. Finally, the Galaxy S22 will get support for 45W wired charging.

Recently, there have been many rumors that Samsung has problems with its own single-chip platform Exynos 2200, and the company allegedly may abandon it altogether. At the same time, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 would have to be used in all Galaxy S22 smartphones instead of Exynos. According to new data, nothing like this will happen: Exynos 2200 will be used in the Galaxy S22 in the UK and, apparently, in other European countries. In general, in comparison with the Galaxy S21, the situation with single-chip systems will not change: both SoC Exynos and Soc Snapdragon will be used.
