Mitsubishi Outlander received the title of the most popular car of the Japanese brand in Russia, taking this title from the former leader, Mitsubishi Lancer. The third place in the list of best-selling Mitsubishi in Russia belongs to the ASX crossover.

For all the time of its presence in the Russian market, Mitsubishi Outlander has changed three generations. For two years, Outlander has been available to Russian customers in a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) version. The most popular among Russian buyers were versions with a 2.0-liter engine (60% of all cars sold), 34% were for versions with a 2.4-liter engine and 6% for versions with a 3-liter V6. Over the entire period of sales in Russia, 88% of all-wheel drive and 12% of front-wheel drive versions of Outlander were sold.

Since 2010, the Mitsubishi Outlander crossover has been produced for the Russian market at the PSMA Rus plant. The car is offered with two petrol engines with a capacity of 146 and 167 hp. Currently, the updated third-generation Mitsubishi Outlander costs from 1 million 959 thousand rubles.
