The head of Roscosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, considers the US refusal to issue a visa to Russian cosmonaut Nikolai Chub to travel to training as a “dangerous precedent”.

“It never crossed our minds to deny a visa to any US astronaut who was on his way to Star City to prepare for space flight. What the US authorities have done with the entry visa of our astronaut is a dangerous precedent for cooperation on the International Space Station, ”he wrote on the Telegram channel.

Earlier, information appeared in the media that the American side, without explanation, refused to issue a visa to Roscosmos cosmonaut Nikolai Chub, who was supposed to fly to the United States to participate in training at the Johnson Space Center. After that, Rogozin said that he would send a request to the head of NASA on this incident.
