The Yandex team announced a significant expansion of the functionality of the Yandex.Fueling service. More than 60 electric chargers of the Moscow Transport Complex have appeared in Yandex.Gas Stations, which are being installed as part of the Energy of Moscow project.
At the end of December, Yandex.Gas stations started working with chargers for electric vehicles. At that time, only six stations were connected to the service in the parking lot of the Danilovsky market in Moscow. Now the coverage has been significantly expanded.
In the application, you can find the nearest charging station, check if it is free, and get directions there. Stations are located in different parts of the city, while recharging and parking are free.
The latest version of the Yandex.Fueling app has a special filter so that only stations for electric vehicles are displayed on the map. To do this, go to the "Filters" section on the main screen and select a charger with the appropriate connector type. Later, these stations will appear in other Yandex applications: Maps and Navigator.
To charge, you need to connect the cable to the electric car and go from Gas Stations to the Moscow Transport app. Then select a station there on the map, a connector and indicate the charging time. It can be completed in the application ahead of time.
