Microsoft founder Bill Gates has written a book entitled How to Prevent the Next Pandemic, which will go on sale in May 2022.

In the book, I lay out concrete steps we can take to not only stop future pandemics, but in the process improve healthcare for all people around the world. I outline the lessons we can learn from this pandemic, the innovations we need to save lives.

In the book, Bill Gates recounts regular conversations with public health leaders, including US chief infectious disease specialist Anthony Fauci and World Health Organization CEO Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus. Gates will also talk about "what it's like to be at the center of a conspiracy theory."

Earlier, Bill Gates said that the number of cases of coronavirus infections in the whole world will decline after a wave of the “omicron” strain, when the coronavirus will be treated like a seasonal flu.
