Chery has officially confirmed the imminent release of a new Chery QQ electric series electric car, which will become a more modern and interesting model in all respects than the Chery QQ Ice Cream.
The car received a two-door design, as well as a rather short body. It will certainly compete with the Wuling Hongguang Mini EV, which is the best-selling Chinese electric car of the past two years.
The power and range of the new car is unknown. Therefore, we can recall that Chery QQ Ice Cream is equipped with an electric motor with a maximum power of 27 hp, a torque of 85 Nm and a top speed of up to 100 km/h.
The Chery QQ Ice Cream is available starting at $4,700 for a base version with 120 km range, while the top-of-the-range version, which runs 170 km on a single charge, is offered for $6,900.
Chery QQ Ice Cream sold 9,984 units in January, up 19% from the previous month. Since the release last fall, more than 70 thousand of these cars have been sold.
