Superjob survey: the number of employers has increased requiring remote employees to look neat on the videoconferencing

On February 15, 2022, the Superjob job search and recruitment service summed up the results of a survey among 1,000 HR managers and personnel officers of enterprises and organizations responsible for recruiting employees for remote work from all over the country.

During the study, it turned out that in 2022 there were slightly more companies that require a certain appearance of employees at a distance for video communication.

If in 2021, according to the Superjob survey, only 10% of companies introduced a dress code for employees working remotely, now there are 12% of such companies.

Superjob found that medium-sized and large businesses, such as banks and organizations involved in sales and manufacturing, most often require staff to comply with a dress code during remote video calls. In the construction industry and telecom, there are much fewer such requirements.

Superjob said that company representatives announced the requirements for the dress code of remote employees. They are quite simple - casual style and neat appearance. Most companies ban any unsightly indoor clothing, including pajamas or missing pieces of clothing while talking. Many employers ask to appear on the screen in things with corporate symbols.
