Realme GT2 Pro for $473 caused a big stir: due to a bug, the cheapest Android flagship dropped in price in China

This morning, the flagship smartphone Realme GT2 Pro in the official Realme store fell to an all-time low price: the version with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory was offered at a price of only $473. Although just a few days ago, the price was reduced to $549.

The proposal caused a great stir, and the smartphone was ordered by many users. However, later it became known that such a low price was set as a result of an error.

Realme VP posted the following message on Weibo social media: “Some mistakes were made in the Realme shopping mall this morning in setting the price of the Realme GT2 Pro. Of course, users who managed to order smartphones will receive them at a low price.”

This is the cheapest flagship smartphone based on the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC on the market. It is equipped with a 6.7-inch LPTO AMOLED display with a resolution of 2K (3216 x 1440 pixels) supporting a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a brightness of up to 1400 cd/m2. Realme GT2 Pro is equipped with fast RAM and flash memory, as well as a cooling system Diamond Ice Core Cooling System Plus.

The Realme GT2 Pro camera received image sensors with a resolution of 50, 50 and 2 megapixels. The phone is powered by a 5000mAh battery and supports 65W fast charging technology. The smartphone runs the latest Android 12 operating system right out of the box with its own Realme UI 3.0 user interface.

We have already reported that Realme GT2 and GT2 Pro will be released on the global market in March.
