The new low-cost Great Wall King Kong pickup will soon hit the Chinese market, with Chinese Cars reporting that the vehicle could arrive in Russia as early as the second half of 2022.

The Great Wall King Kong is a 4-door large pickup truck measuring 5635 x 1880 x 1815mm with a 3410mm wheelbase. The dimensions of the cargo compartment are 1820 x 1500 x 495 mm, and the declared load capacity is a modest 500 kg.

The design of the pickup truck is distinguished by an abundance of chrome and stampings on the body. The interior uses fabric upholstery, an abundance of gray plastic, a mechanical gear knob, a digital instrument panel and a “floating” screen of a multimedia system. The photo shows the basic version of the car, more expensive models have not yet been shown.

The car will be equipped with 197-horsepower petrol or 165-horsepower 2-liter diesel engines. Older versions will receive an 8-band torque converter. The drive will be rear or full, depending on the configuration.

In China, the price starts at about 1.2 million rubles in terms of our money.
