At the end of last year, the Ministry of Industry and Informatization of the PRC declassified the exterior of the updated version of the Chery Tiggo 8 Pro crossover, which is now shown in black for the first time.
The source reports that we are talking about a sports version of the new Chery Tiggo 8 Pro, which will receive not only a black body, but also red accents on it. In addition, interesting optics catches the eye. Its daytime running lights are LED elements that highlight the X-shaped grille.
Moreover, the sports version of the new Chery Tiggo 8 Pro received fog lights. On previously published data from the database of the Ministry of Industry and Informatization of the PRC, the car was shown without them in the younger version.
The new Chery Tiggo 8 Pro will be equipped with two engines, including a 1.6-liter ACTECO with 197 hp. The sports version will receive a 2.0-liter engine with 254 hp.
The car has increased in size, which is 4745 x 1860 x 1745 mm, while the wheelbase has remained unchanged and is 2710 mm.
It is worth noting that the Tiggo 8 and Tiggo 8 Plus models are still being sold in China. The latter was released in Russia under the name Chery Tiggo 8 Pro.
