The game takes place hundreds of years before the start of well-known films during the so-called era of the High Republic, which refers to the golden age of the Jedi Order.

LucasFilm has not disclosed a release date or any gameplay details. It is reported that users will be able to navigate the game as one of several different characters, each with unique abilities. They take part in events that could endanger the whole world.
