Tumbler camera: the design of the new Xiaomi smartphone is declassified in a live photo of the cover

A well-known insider under the nickname Digital Chat Station has published a photo of a protective case for the new Xiaomi smartphone, which will receive a camera with an original design.

In terms of the shape of the cutouts, the camera can be compared to a classic roly-poly toy. Presumably, the smartphone will receive two main image sensors with large lenses. Additionally, there are two more cutouts on the case, presumably for a flash and another camera.

It is not yet known under what name this smartphone will be released. However, it is unlikely that Xiaomi 12 Ultra or Xiaomi Mix 5 Pro are the next flagship smartphones of the Chinese manufacturer.

The Xiaomi Mix 5 Pro is rumored to feature a 6.73-inch WQHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is reported that the smartphone will be equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization (IMX707), a 48-megapixel module with 5x optical zoom and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. It will also support 150-watt charging.

As for the Xiaomi 12 Ultra, it will receive a 50-megapixel Leica camera, a zoom from 0.5x to 120x, a 2K screen, as well as a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 single-chip system, like the Xiaomi Mix 5 Pro.
