The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has released new photographs that were taken on the Red Planet by the Perseverance rover.
Good morning from Mars - there, as always, dusty, cold and strangely serene.
NASA
The rover landed on the Red Planet in February this year, along with the Ingenuity helicopter, which has already exceeded the plan and made 17 research flights. True, the last flight was not without problems: NASA lost contact with the helicopter for 15 minutes, which later resumed.
Perseverance and Ingenuity are expected to find traces of ancient microbial life on Mars. To do this, the rover collects samples of the Martian soil, data on the geology and climate of the Red Planet.
More photos from Mars can be found on the NASA website.
