Kingmax Introduces DDR5 Desktop Memory

Kingmax today announced DDR5 memory modules for desktop PCs. The modules are fully compatible with the Intel platform, including 12th Gen Core processors, codenamed Alder Lake, and the Z690 chipsets, are certified by motherboard manufacturers such as Gigabyte, Asus and MSI.

The line includes U-DIMMs DDR5-4800 and DDR5-5200, operating with CAS latencies of 40 and 42, respectively. They are offered in 8, 16 and 32 GB sizes, one and two. Built-in error detection and correction (ECC) improves reliability and maintains data stability and integrity. The modules are designed for a supply voltage of 1.1 V.

The manufacturer does not name prices.
