Not enough displays for iPhone 14

The production of smartphones for the iPhone 14 has been under threat due to the ongoing lack of displays. According to 9to5Mac, the screens will not be enough for all Apple gadgets at least in February and March.

According to unofficial estimates, the shortage is estimated at millions of displays. At least one iPhone display supplier has been hit hard by shortages. We are talking about the Chinese display giant BOE.

The Chinese company planned to ship more than 40 million units of OLED panels for the iPhone this year, according to people familiar with the situation. It is now expected that the final volume of deliveries by the end of 2022 will be no more than 30 million tons.

BOE is the third largest screen supplier for Apple. The first place is occupied by Samsung, and the second by LG.

Earlier it was reported that the iPhone 11 released in 2019 turned out to be more powerful than Samsung's new flagship, the Galaxy S22. Smartphone from Apple performed better in the performance test.
