This time, the owners of the PlayStation and PC did not stand aside

Bang & Olufsen has unveiled a new generation of Beoplay Portal wireless headphones. Like the previous generation, these are headphones designed primarily for gamers.

The previous version had a problem: the headphones worked fine with the Xbox, but with the PlayStation and PC in wireless mode, it was difficult to use them due to the large delay.

The new model has no such flaw. The headphones are fully compatible with both PC and PlayStation, as well as various mobile gaming devices.

The company has also improved autonomy, so now it is declared equal to 42 hours, and this is with active noise reduction, which is also available here. True, 42 hours is autonomy when using Bluetooth. And to pair with a PC or PlayStation, you need to use another adapter with a frequency of 2.4 GHz, and here the autonomy will be only 19 hours.

The rest are 40mm drivers, Dolby Atmos support, aluminum chassis, aptX support, and a $500 price tag.
