Mediascope found out where Russian users spend most of their free time online

According to the Russian edition of Forbes, the Mediascope research company found out which mobile applications, the largest in terms of audience volume, Russian users spend most of their free time in.

Mediascope analysis showed that users from the Russian Federation aged 12 years and older in the past six months prefer to spend several hours a day playing PUBG Mobile: Aftermath, watching videos on YouTube and its children's version, and watching short videos on TikTok.

It is noteworthy that the rest of the social networks were not included in the top 10 of the Mediascope sample. For more than an hour, Russian users preferred to play Empires & Puzzles, upgrade their skills on the Roblox platform, drive tanks in World of Tanks Blitz, destroy enemies in the Standoff 2 shooter, and also relax with the help of the casual aquarium game Fishdom: Deep Dive.

Compared to a similar study conducted by Mediascope in 2019, the interests and preferences of Russian users have changed a lot. Two years ago, they spent an average of not that long in each of the time applications. Previously, they prioritized simple games from Playrix, social networks and even two readers.
