The first mass-produced Android smartphone with wireless magnetic charging, similar to the one used in the iPhone, was the recently announced Nubia Z40 Pro. However, it will not be the only one: Xiaomi also introduced charging technology similar to MagSafe.

The mass advantage of magnetic wireless charging over conventional is called. It's faster, less prone to heat, lighter, with a smaller charger, and of course, easier to handle. The design of Xiaomi magnetic wireless charging uses 17 magnets, forming an almost closed ring. They are quite strong despite the fact that they are thin: the magnets can hold the weight of four smartphones (800 grams).

Apparently, all the details about Xiaomi's wireless magnetic charging will be revealed next week. The first devices with it may come out this year.
